our beautiful life

Family     House     Life     Style
Well, sometimes its nice to stay home all day, no makeup, no getting dressed, no going anywhere.

On these days, I do my morning workout at home. This is one of the many routines that I like to do.

Quick, Easy, & Effective.

Well, I guess the time has come for miss L to move out of her crib.
London & I took down her crib together today. She was excited to be moving to a "big girl" bed.
Lets hope tonight goes smoothly & she is still just as excited about this new bed arrangement.
I have the crib in the basement, so if she is freaking out, I guess ill have to put it back together.
But I am hoping its "out of sight out of mind".

So I bought one of those mesh bedrails that you see at everywhere. But took it back the same day.
Not my style, totally ruins the look of their cute room, & it feels super flimsy AND it was so short!
fail, fail, fail & fail.
I love the Pottery Barn kids wooden bedrails. But for $125 bucks, no thanks.
I decided to make my own.
I took some paint swatches home & matched up the white wood color of the girls bunk bed the best I could.
We measured how long we wanted the bedrail to be & got the pieces of wood we needed.
Then Adam rounded off the wood edges just slightly so that there wouldn't be and sharp corners. Turned out awesome!
I got to work the next day painting them while Adam was at work.
I did about 3 coats all around.

After I painted them London & I took down her crib (impromptu).
I was actually planning to keep it up for a week, just to make sure the transition went smoothly.
But, I tend to be impatient, & really wanted this crib out of here.
So like I said before "out of sight, out of mind"...I hope.

I absolutely love Arizona.
I have been there the last 3 years but never with Adam.
It was always for a girls trip, & a boys trip. It was so much fun going together, finally!
We had such a great time.
I am overly, super duper, extremely blessed to have such amazing parents who gave this to Adam & I as a blessing / birthday gift.
Both of my parents are extremely giving & selfless. They think of others above themselves always. Especially when it comes to their kids. I never take any of this for granted & I feel very lucky, & blessed to have them as my mom & dad.

This outdoor mall is so gorgeous.
Adam & I couldn't resist picking a fresh orange from this Orange tree.

My favorite Italian restaurant. so good.
NORTH

These mountains are seriously breathtaking.

-This old man & his friend were apparently watching me do my yoga poses.-
(I couldn't resist with this backdrop)
I got done & he says to us in a serious tone,
"I'd rather be a live wimp then a dead yoga."
hahaha.

Trying to teach Adam to find his balance ;)

Just trying to freak out my Mother. It worked.

This Spa  was amazing.
After a long hike up the mountain my Dad made my mom & I a massage appointment.
This place was so nice & relaxing.
After my massage I went into the steam room with some ice cold cucumber cuts, laid them on my eyes & just relaxed.
Heavenly.

Convertible. The only way to travel in a state like this.

Our week was busy, as we are leaving for Az this week. But we were trying to fit in a date night for London. the other night at Dinner L looks at Adam & says "I want a date! I want to go get a Belle doll just like sissy, how bout now?!" So, why not?! I quickly helped L get dressed, Adam distracted her while I bundled up some flowers we already had, I wrapped them with pink ribbon all around the bottom so it was a cute little flower bouquet. Then as I was getting Londons coat & shoes on Adam went to the front door & knocked. Londons face was pure joy when she saw that daddy was standing there with flowers all for her. Having girls is the absolute best! ❤️

BTW- She went with the intension on getting a Belle doll like Summer got on her date, But decided on a cute pair of princess shoes instead. haha
